This may be the dumbest question you get on your blog, and let your readers laugh, but how did you know they were white beets? Do you get a list of what is delivered to you each week? Call me a vegan virgin if you will, but those babies look like pale turnips to me….

Well they had a harsh turnip-like flavor, but a definite beet flavor as well. I would not have known but yes, we do get a sheet telling us what is in that week’s share. That’s the only way I would have known because I had never heard of them before.
