X-country road trip Day 9 – final thoughts

Final leg of the journey entering VA and onto Eastern Time.

From Little Rock we drove to Memphis and the Lorraine Hotel, ate some great BBQ and then on to Nashville.

The day begins with a tour of “Black Wall Street” in Tulsa’s Greenwood District. The disturbing story continues to Little Rock.

Today went from Nevada to Arizona to Utah and back to Arizona. We saw Zion National Park and Horseshoe Bend.

In what may turn out to be the most beautiful day of driving, we drove south along the eastern Sierras, and across Death Valley into Nevada.
